Killgerm Group’s Sabra Everett Receives Prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at National Pest Awards

Killgerm Group proudly announces that Sabra Everett, Group Marketing & Public Affairs Director and one of the company’s three Executive Board Directors, has been honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the National Pest Awards.

With more than 20 years of service, Sabra has demonstrated exceptional dedication to the pest control industry—both within Killgerm and far beyond. She is widely recognised across Europe and the United States for her tireless efforts to promote, grow, and protect the sector.

A Career of Industry-Wide Influence

Sabra has helped lead and organise major international conferences, including:

  • ESOVE, Cambridge (2008)
  • International Public Health Pesticide Workshop, London (2009)
  • Launch of the WHO publication Public Health Significance of Urban Pests at Parliament and the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health
  • International Conference on Urban Pests, Birmingham (2017)

Her leadership extends across key industry bodies:

  • Over two decades of contribution to the National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA), rising from steering committee member to Board Chair.
  • Inclusion in the Trade Association Forum’s 2024 Outstanding Trade Association Member Contribution list.
  • Membership of the National Pest Advisory Panel (NPAP), representing NPAP on the Pest Management Alliance (PMA).
  • Guidance of the Greater London Pest Liaison Group (GLPLG), ensuring technical updates and best practices across London boroughs.

Sabra also served nine years as a Director of BASIS, becoming Chair of BASIS PROMPT in 2016. Under her stewardship, the CPD Register for pest technicians has grown to more than 3,000 members, setting the benchmark for professional development in the UK.

Her commitment to advancing knowledge includes collaborative research—co-authoring a 2014 Journal of Environmental Health publication—and founding Professional Women in Pest Management (UK), where she continues to mentor and champion women in the field.
